Surface Drainage

We have the equipment to provide a complete surface drainage solution. It is more important than ever with no-till practices to maintain surface drainage. Subsurface drainage alone may not be enough to drain ponding water after heavy rain events. Most soils percolate too slowly to prevent crop damage.

With our RTK/GPS technology we can cut drainage ditches on grade. Our ditcher can cut new ditches or widen deep spinner ditches that are rough on equipment. We can cut a 5 foot wide ditch on grade just a few inches deep and flare out the sides so you don’t feel the ditch nearly as much as traditional spinner ditches. This allows you to farm right across them like they aren’t even there.
